Le dieu de Kom est un court métrage documentaire qui met en évidence la relation spirituelle et émotionnelle qui existe entre les habitants de kom, un village de la région du nord-ouest du Cameroun et AFO a Kom, une statue vieille de 152 ans trouvée dans le palais Laikom censée ont des pouvoirs mystiques. L’AFO a kom, comme on l’appelle, a été sculpté en 1865 et conservé parmi d’autres artefacts dans le palais de Laikom et en 1955, il a été volé et vendu à un collectionneur d’art américain. En Amérique, les pouvoirs mystiques entourant la statue ont détruit beaucoup de choses autour d’elle. En raison des pouvoirs que possédait la statue, son origine a été retracée et le 5 décembre 1966 AFO un Kom a été renvoyé au palais Laikom. Aujourd’hui, il est considéré comme le dieu de Kom.

The god of Kom is a short documentary film that brings out the spiritual and emotional relationship that exist between the people of om,a village in the North west region of Cameroon and AFO a Kom, a 152 y r old statue found in the Laikom palace believed to havemagic powers. AFO A KOM as it is called was carved in 1865 and kept amongst other artifacts in the Laikom palace. In 1955, it was stolen and sold to an American art collector. While in America, the mystical powers surrounding the statue destroyed many things around it. Because of the powers the statue possessed, its origin was traced and on December 5,1966 AFO A KOM was sent back to the Laikom palace. Today, it’s looked upon as the god of Kom.
