This 18-minute-long documentary film takes a leap into the future while revisiting history and the origin of Ngonso. Ngonso is a sacred sculpture of the foundress of the Nso clan that was of traditional and spiritual signicance to the people of Nso. Missing for more than a century now, this sculpture was taken away by the Germans during the colonial period and it is being kept in the Berlin Museum. Several efforts have been made by the Nso community to get back this sculpture. this film Through the Scribe of Nso History Society and a retired Reverend Pastor, this film explores the historical background of Ngonso, its significance to the return and the challenges faced in getting back the sculpture.

Ce film documentaire de 18 minutes (version courte) fait un saut dans le futur tout en revisitant l’histoire et l’origine de Ngonso. Ngonso est une sculpture qui représente la fondatrice du clan Nso. Elle est sacrée et a une signification spirituelle importante pour le peuple de Nso. Disparue depuis plus d’un siècle maintenant, cette sculpture a été emportée par les Allemands pendant la période coloniale et est conservée au musée de Berlin. Plusieurs efforts ont été entrepris par la communauté Nso pour la récupérer. A travers le Scribe de l’histoire de la société de Nso et un révérend pasteur à la retraite, ce film explore l’histoire de Ngonso, son importance pour les habitants de Nso, ainsi que les défis rencontrés pour restituer cette  sculpture au peuple Nso.
